Every summer, Theodore Turner can’t wait to visit his Nana’s house with all his cousins.
Nestled between palm trees, Nana’s home is eclectic and charming. Vibrant patterns, colorful furniture and beautiful paintings fill the rooms.
In fact, Theodore and his cousins have explored every inch of her home, except the attic. The dark hallway leading up to the attic falls short of interest.
After hearing a loud thump one night, Theodore’s curiosity gets the best of him. He ventures up to the attic where he has a big surprise waiting for him—he meets Prince, The Turner Macaw of Awe. There, he learns about his Black-American heritage, making him realize how extraordinary his family really is.
